Our Goal
We started U.S. Airways Virtual in November of 2015, one month after U.S. Airways made its last commercial flight from San Francisco to Philadelphia.

Seeing how upset the aviation community was about our beloved airline leaving the world, we had one simple idea; to bring the spirit of U.S. Airways back and better than ever.

Now, after two years of operations in the world of virtual flight, our community is still growing, and our devotion to reliving the days of U.S. Airways has never faltered!
What's New?
Along with the original three main hubs and fleet of U.S. Airways, USV has acquired new hubs and aircraft to better accommodate our customers.

We now have a hub in San Francisco for more flights to Asia and Oceania, and Dallas Fort Worth, giving our customers abilities to connect their flights all over the country.

Some of our new aircraft include the Boeing 767-300ER, to replace the aging 767-200ER, the 777-200LR and Airbus A350-900, giving us the ability to fly more long-haul destinations from all our hubs.

A Message From Our CEO

Greetings fellow pilots and avgeeks! Welcome to U.S. Airways Virtual!
We're glad you're here, and that you've decided to choose this great VA! We may not be as large as some of the virtual airlines out there today, but our love for aviation and the late great U.S. Airways is equally as strong.

I started this virtual airline on November 13th, 2015. To be honest, I wasn't that big of a fan of U.S. Airways, but I did feel bad when they merged with American Airlines. However, the effect on the rest of the aviation community was incredible! People were posting Rest In Peace pics for the old Cactus and creating accounts to commemorate the airline, which gave me an idea: why not have a virtual flight community devoted to remembering U.S. Airways? And that's how it all started. I asked the virtual community if they'd like to see a U.S. Airways virtual airline, and the response was massive. People were really enthusiastic about it, and gave us tons of support. And before long, the virtual airline commenced operations!

Over two years later, we are still expanding, recapturing the days when U.S. Airways planes still roamed the skies. We've acquired new aircraft and hubs to give our pilots more options when flying, and our passengers more abilities to fly all across the country and globe.

We're always hiring new pilots, and we love to have you join our team, and bring back the spirit of U.S. Airways! So come fly with US!

Godspeed!
